My new TOYOTA AURION with
1 2/70cms
1 uhf glass mount 403-470mhz
1 uhf glass mount 450-520mhz
1 vhf low band antenna 66-88mhz
1 ruler antenna inside the spolier UHF 450-480mhz.
Radio's
2 TX-3800 PMR
1 FT-8800 2/70
1 T-2020 VHF LOWBAND

Nice install!
It is a bit hard to tell due to the size of the pic, but the GME mic on the left (in the second pic) looks like it is connected to the mic of the 2020, is that right

no its a stand alone radio the tait mic in on the side of the console the mic is called MC522BC google it and see a big pick

So Nathan, what is your opinion of the on glass antennas?
How well do they work out in the sticks where you live?

i like them because there not to big they are on to use but of course the hard cable antennas beet themn hands down,u just have to get the SWR 100% on them and they work good.

Your boot antenna install looks great.
I had real issues with cables not staying in place and id end up crimping and cutting the cable or not closing the boot.
Out of interest which brand glass mount are they and where did you get them from as im chasing a few from RFI but think they will blow the budget.

I get all my glass mount antenna from metro communication at banskia 95991555
i have also just changed the vhf low band antenna to a cd17 rfi one which is the one poliice cars have on them.
