It would also depend on whose decision it is, if left up to the PF I'm sure it would stay operational forever, but I'd think the Telco Authority would be pushing to remove duplicate networks ASAP.
Another factor would be whether or not they re-purpose the hardware from the PF bases and incorporate it into GRN sites like they did in Melbourne? If so then that may bring forward the timetable considerably.
