Hi all, from anywhere north of Bargo on the Hume heading to sydney it sounds awful, to the point i try to avoid them.
hearing a transmission from those sites down this area sounds nearly as bad, you definatly know where the transmission comes from.
i dont know that 468.300 is the one at Berkeley tops anymore there are 2 more frequencies down at Wollongong 469.000 and 469.025, i know one is at Mt Saddleback(i think its 469.025).
cheers all
Matt
467.9250 and 468.8500 sound off frequency
Re: 467.9250 and 468.8500 sound off frequency
When I first got into scanning many years ago, 468.3000 was the analog police backchannel on top of Mount Keira. (ca. 2001)
Re: 467.9250 and 468.8500 sound off frequency
The transmitter locations are those listed in the acma database ... i haven't gone around and checked them
Maybe the problem has never been reported as xray is not a going concern for sydney users
