Bathurst 1000 - 2020
Hey all -
I'm sure - many would be keen for some listening considering crowds are rather limited this year.
So - as usual - will have something happening by the 15th Oct 2020 - through to 18th Oct.
Race Control - will be done by a TRX 1 - or 536PT, likely teams by TRX 1.
Dave

Ah, the not-so-great race... are they still running that?
I haven't even bothered watching for the last couple of years, I just can't see the attraction since the V6 Stupidcars took over.
Might drag out the DVD set of the 1979 race and watch that instead!

Thx Dave, we will be in Temora for the Airshow that weekend but will be watching and listening to your stream of the race as well. Had booked camping for the new event in November but just heard that it has now been cancelled.

No, Red Bull tried it, dismal failure. Dead and buried.Seriously? They're V6s now!? Wow...Surely not!?
The 1130am start is a bit rich though, Bit hard cracking a tin to watch the pre race bullshit.

Re: Bathurst 1000 - 2020
Streams went live this morning - a few minor hiccups with cables , computers not agreeing with me.
TRX 1 - is running the Teams channel - audio seems pretty clear, via phone or laptop
Race Control - via a Uniden 536 PT.

Both are on Broadcastify links which are on my website above .
enjoy all

Great work Dave, coming in loud, but i'm sure you noticed a bit of background noise on the feed?
I had a similar issue once and this little unit from jaycar cleaned up the audio and made it a bit more easier on the ears over a long period.

That and grounding the antenna earth to the computer case can help too.
Just thought i would mention it.
