108 is off the air for maintenance, the COW is now grazing happily in its place.

Sounds like the shift to 420Mhz that I alluded to a couple of weeks ago is taking place right now

It looks Manly (North Head) site 001-016 has also undergone a control channel frequency change recently.
One of the Scan Sydney folk (Mike Alpha) has just advised me that the Manly control channel is now 420.4875.
A quick check on ACMA shows new frequencies added 27/7/20: 414.9875, 415.2375, 420.2375, 420.4875, 420.7375, 421.2375, 421.4875, 421.7375, 421.9875.
Needs somebody with unitrunker/dsd over the northern beaches or eastern Sydney to confirm the new site frequencies/NAC/Peers etc.
I cannot hear Manly from Liverpool - too many hills

Fellow scanning blogger Matt N. brought this to my attention today.
On Horsley Park GRN Site 001-045, in amongst the peer sites is a new one 001-109 with a control channel frequency of 416.4750 (which strangely enough is the the same frequency for 001-009 site at Razorback).
Its appearing on both DSDPlus and Unitrunker.
Just Razorback appearing on ACMA.
No other sites surrounding Horlsey Park are showing this new site.
Got me scratching my head over this one.

Update: 17/9/20: 001-109 now being shown as "isolated"

There is a new peer site on Mt Moombil 003-101 (North Coast).
The new peer site is 003-117 with CC 419.6500, this site is possibly Banyabba (ACMA Site ID 402002). This site is west of Maclean and would provide some coverage on the Summerland Way (between Grafton and Casino).

Brookvale Site 001-053 Control channel change

Post by cartman » Wed Sep 16, 2020 12:43 am

In addition to the changes at Manly Site 001-016, I have just noticed that there is a new control channel being shown on DSD/Unitrunker for:

Warringah Mall Brookvale Site 001-053
ACMA Site ID 10018886

420.0375
420.2875 CC
420.5375
420.7875
421.2875
421.5375

A job for somebody on the Northern Beaches who can confirm current control channel, backup channel, peer list and NAC
