On the few occasions i was checking, I saw TG 20008 (RFS lower Hunter) and 10112 (FRNSW) coming off Transit Hill
Somebody else on the fb site was reporting an encrypted talkgroup further north
I only seen the ENC Come up 3 or 4 times while up the Hill, and then once halfway over the Divide, and as the Ambulance Service in Mungindi is now using the old Mungindi Police Freq's 468.450, for ASNSW Mungindi Comm's, was wondering if the Police at Port may had gone to the GRN? Out Mungindi the Police have a new Encrypted Ch in the Police Band Plan.
467.5000-469.9875 is now the government band
There are numerous Ambulance sites throughout these 467-469Mhz frequencies ... but still analog. They have moved from 462Mhz some time ago
Police are still using their allocation ... encrypted P25 between 467.8500 and 469.425Mhz.
(In Sydney there are a few channels now using a wider range. Channel 2 from memory and a special operations channel in the outer southwest)
Police have stated in a telco document i read on their site that they will move only to the North Coast GRN when the coverage is better than their current network
I understand that some FRNSW units have started using the local sites where operational but most are still on the 416Mhz and 419Mhz band
