Did you notice the Talkgroup?
On the few occasions i was checking, I saw TG 20008 (RFS lower Hunter) and 10112 (FRNSW) coming off Transit Hill
Somebody else on the fb site was reporting an encrypted talkgroup further north

Yeah I recall your post about your hunting at Castle Hill and finding that same SysID, just got a little confused with the new Kirrawee site described as 'active' above. I read that as being online, not necessarily just in testing.
It has been active during last week with GRN traffic although as Cartman said it gets switched off at times and the CoW takes over.

Mike
The Kirrawee site seems to be off the CoW and now permanently on the new CC of 422.3875MHz.

Cartman No Sorry I didn't, by the time I notice the ENC coming up (no audio), the TG was gone again.

I only seen the ENC Come up 3 or 4 times while up the Hill, and then once halfway over the Divide, and as the Ambulance Service in Mungindi is now using the old Mungindi Police Freq's 468.450, for ASNSW Mungindi Comm's, was wondering if the Police at Port may had gone to the GRN? Out Mungindi the Police have a new Encrypted Ch in the Police Band Plan.

Could it have been Corrective Services transport? There's a big jail at Aldavilla just outside Kempsey.

This is a summary of my week up around Port Macquarie.using a Uniden 325P2
Subsequent to this I understand Mt Ganghat and Coolongolook have come online today as well as Smiths lake and Forster (see below).
Folk on the Central Coast and Newcastle who can run Unitrunker/DSD/SDR trunker should find these new sites on existing GRN locations like Gan Gan, Mt Arthur and Nerong

Heatherbrae + Browns Flat Rest area
416.1250 - 2D4 - Site 002-041 Cessnock
416.1375 - 2DB - Site 002-042 Gan Gan, Nelson Bay

419.5750 - 2D9 - Site 003-xxx ???
419.6625 - 2D9 - Site 003-079 Jolly Nose Point
419.7125 - 2D9 - Site 003-083 Transit hill, Port Macquarie
419.7375 - 2D3 - Site 003-091 Mt Yarrahapinni

I understand from the FB NSW Scanning Digital page that two other sites at Smiths Lake and Forster have been commissioned today as well
I could not hear them from North Brother Mountain as their signals appear to have been affected by stronger local adjacent signals in the Port Macquarie area

Just checking my unitrunker / DSD Plus files and noticed a new site has become active off Chullora some time around 23/6/20 when it was shown as failed and isolated.
Had another look at Chullora this morning and there is now a new site that has been commissioned in the last week.
Site 001-111 New M8 Motorway Tunnel Kingsgrove-St Peters. Control Channel 422.5000Mhz 04-1604.
Likely backup channel will be 422.2500 04-1564 based on what i have seen on the DSD log

Mike,

That is possible . . . and to a degree would make sense too, it was around 9am in the morning, so some of the Transports would be getting on the road for transfers.

Up here on the Mid North Coast, TG 10402 is quite active
