AussieScanners Gone?

Post by Scotty » Wed Apr 17, 2019 7:53 am

Noticed ‘AussieScanners’ dropped from my Tapatalk feed late last week, and the website appears to have been down since as well. Anyone know if the site is simply down, or gone for good?

i am a bit suprised it was redirecting you to a spam site, i will look into that.

On Monday i completed an upgrade of the forums everything went well, the server was having issues with its mysql database so a new fresh version of all files was uploaded and the forums came back up, tapatalk was removed to allow for upgrading of the forums it will be added back Friday 19th April and as i find old features that are missing i will add them back in.

Cartman,

we had issues trying to upgrade the forum and had to stop registrations for a while as the version of recaptcha that was being used was no longer supported hence the fake accounts, i am weeding through them slowly to find real and fake. it unfortunately takes alot of time as im sure you know

Its down again this morning (Tuesday 23/4/19) with a "HTTP ERROR 500"

Personally I would be going through and deleting all the zero post accounts (which is about 70 pages on the members listing) then look for all the silly names still left where the posting is irrelevant to weed them out. Just my two cents worth (don't worry I have made similar comments here about deleting lurkers)
