Interesting that they have a Emission Designator of 10K1F9W.

I'm not sure why the Emission Designator of 10K1F9W was applied, but I do know that all channels are cable of Data (FSK) as well as voice. Customers use Status messages and Short Data messages. Most data goes out on the control channel and all channels are capable of being a CC. Also, I guess that even voice channel start-of-conversation and end-of-conversation transactions are data / FSK so this may have some bearing on the Emission type.

the Adamstown site has come to life,, however the only activity heard on it was from users around the Ingleburn area.

Do any of you know if there are any security services in Sydney using this network that hopefully I could hear up here

Hmm. I think I've only ever seen that Emission Designator used for P25 systems, and encrypted P25 systems, at that.

Re security companies, I'm note sure about any that use group calls. The most used mode on Fleetcoms is a direct or private call, as Fleetcoms is essentially a radio version of a telephone PABX ie 1 to 1 calls. Some subscribers use group call such as taxis.

Adamstown UHF Base Tx:
416.7375 CC
416.2375
417.2375
417.7375

Mt Heaton UHF Base Tx, when it comes to life:
416.8625 CC
415.7375
417.3625
417.8625

Its the same EmDes for both o and ø.

Encryption doesn't apply to the physical layer at all, its all handled further up the protocol stack.
