RFS VHF Frequencies
Hi all
The Bega Valley, and I presume Eurobodalla, are going to be using VHF radios for fire ground comms and talking to CFA and CFS.
I should know this but I can't remember what the freqs and channels are for RFS VHF comms.
Can someone help me out.
Thanks
Mark

Re: RFS VHF Frequencies
No worries at all.
Looks like you got a Simoco there and a old one at that, there is a few more fireground channels now, 30 now from memory. Note too that fireground has no sub tone (for some unknown reason, bit silly i feel)
We had a new cat 7 turn up about 12 months ago with a VHF TM9100 in it with all the channels above plus the new NPWS channels. I recently spoke to my local RFS Operations manager about what the CFA had done re radio systems and he was making enquiries.
Cheers

Re: RFS VHF Frequencies
This is supposedly new info that brigades are getting, you would think they would have all channels listed. Could be an old info sheet re distributed though I suppose.
