Heard Shoalhaven RFS on Warringah RFS TG?
I heard a structure fire happening on Warringah RFS TG10076 last night. Talking about a building on fire and another in danger. But it was at Milton and Shoalhaven units were responding.
Why was this coming over on the Warringah TG?

No idea why it was coming over Warringah (unless somebody was messing around with some kind of patch) but it was Milton Tyre Service...

This would happen a couple of years back as well. Something to do with trialling a central dispatch (from Homebush?) when local FireComm centres who covered structure fires were not open. You would hear a numbers of talkgroups from around the state on Warringah's channel (and vice versa). May be trialling again or in full time now.

This is the start if the dispatch TG system at the moment state ops are running of the warringah ch .
There other rfs areas on it as well like orana , mid north coast and of course shoalhaven.
There will be more fire areas comibg on board in the next few months as well

Has been online for a few months now, MNC Coffs harbour area and shoalhaven are all pacthed into Warringahs TG.
I've heard this is going to take off very soon and they are going to have many more areas controlled from HQ.
Still a long way to go though to achieve optimum communications between services.

Each district still uses their respective channel, and they are patched and multi selected at HO on the centracom, so they aren't using the Warringah channel as such. Listen to the MNC or Shoalhaven GRN TG and you will hear the same thing.
As others have said it is part of Centralised Dispatch which currently has 4 Districts on it, Warringah/Pittwater, Mid North Coast, Shoalhaven & Orana Team

Hi all,
I heard it active on wG024 Orana over the past few days off the Sappa Bulga site.
They also have their GRN and P25 PMR (W014 Orana) Patched together too so it can be heard on the PMR system too.
Cheers
