Hi all,

Noticing Far south coast are using GRN for Euro(Northern FSC) operations. The Bega Valley side(Southern FSC) seem to still be using analog PMR.

Went for a drive out the other side of Young yesterday and noticed South West Slopes are using there new P25 PMR and is currently patched into there old analog PMR at the moment. Caught Cootamundra 1 using P25 PMR. Seems to be patched at the Harden FCC.

Cheers
Matt

Thought I would use this old thread.
Far South Coast (Bega and Eurobodalla) are now on the Central Dispatch system. Needless to say the channel is a lot busier. They are still using digital PMR.

Will this happen in the Albury area in the future? Love to be able to monitor a central dispatch channel!

I have heard Shoallhaven a fair bit but haven't had much time to listen, yesterday we had a large fire at Corbargo in the Bega Valley so the channels were split again.

Far South Coast, Shoalhaven, Illawarra, Lake George (these four are together because they're bordering), Canobolas, Castlereagh, Orana, Castlereagh, Central Coast.

So pretty much from here on in, the entire coast south of Sydney is patched together.

Great, thanks, By that it looks like they are running two main operators out of the OCC,
Will be interesting to see what 'Dispatch" channels pop up around their coms center for areas that run p25 PMR & get unpatched from the groups due to heavy fire activity but still have the need to monitor from the OCC.

Group 1 – Far south Coast, Castlereagh, Orana, Cudgegong, Canobolas, Lake George, Shoalhaven, Central Coast, Illawarra
Group 2 – Tamworth, Mid North Coast, Riverina Highlands, Riverina, Northern Beaches, Hawkesbury, Cumberland, Mid Coast, Bland Temora

EDIT; Adjusted groups for record keeping.

Almost! Move Bland Temora into Group 2 and add Illawarra to Group 1. ;)
