NSW RFS: East Region - All TG's and Frequencies

Post by Scotty » Wed Oct 23, 2013 4:23 pm

I've compiled the following list which identifies the talkgroups and frequencies for each district in the RFS East Region. Hopefully it will help someone out there with listening to issues that pop up in their local or surrounding areas.

All the info has been obtained from different sources and compiled by myself, so it is not guaranteed as correct. If you are aware of any changes post them and I will update the list.

Some of the areas below are not on the GRN (ie Mid Coast, etc) or choose to use the PMR channels. The talkgroups for those areas are still listed for future use with the expansion of the GRN. Likewise, licensed PMR channels are listed for areas that use GRN, even though these may not be in use.

With fire season approaching I will try and make time to update the list. Can anyone advise of any corrections, and have there been any other areas that have moved to P25 for PMR?

Also, in regards to Chifley and Manning, are the PMR channels divided into 2 or more vote channels, or are they all joined together as one channel?

The PMR system in Warringah has been switched off and they solely use GRN.

Switched off for good? I do note from a quick search that the frequencies for Warringah no longer appear on the frequency register.

I'm not sure if they were decommissioned but the repeaters are definitely turned off.

E075 RFS PMR (424.1500) part of voting group E009 HORNSBY is active off Mt White. It's also patched into the GRN channel eG028 HRNSBY. This will be the only P25 PMR repeater Hornsby will be activating as far as I'm aware - it's basically been set up to cover the hole in decent GRN coverage around Brooklyn and on the Hawkesbury. The rest of the district will remain GRN-only.

Hope this helps.
