NSW Heath upgrading PSN radios in Hospital Emergency Departments

Post by cartman » Thu Oct 19, 2023 7:29 pm

NSW Health appears to be now slowly replacing their older radios at various Hospital Emergency Departments.

I have noticed a number of new radio ids (eg: Campbelltown, Blacktown and Nepean Hospitals). It was brought to my attention that Code 3 calls are still being transmitted in Phase 1 on the East, South, West and North Hospital Channels, presumably until all radios have been replaced with Phase 2.

Something for those collecting/tagging radio ids on your Unitrunker/DSD/SDRTrunk programs to keep your eyes open for.

Northern control advised a car the other day that 'Coffs Hospital now has its own code 3 channel...it is channel 16'. Sorry no idea what TG that correlates to though.
