The vast majority of portables used on stations are 16 channel GP329's. There is a few GP339's in the system as well. Some Vertex were trialled at Wynyard a few years back but found to be unacceptable.

Well, this radio i saw at central was a Gp338.
I was behind the user waiting to get food

Ps just finished the transfargarasan highway this evening in Romania .... It is every bit scary as every body says it is. One mistake and its all over rover. Seatbelts wont help you.
