New frequency for D105

Post by Scotty » Thu Dec 29, 2011 6:38 pm

Looking to confirm the frequency for channel D105? I would assume it is likely one of the old tunnel channels, possibly now in P25?

I believe the old frequencies were:
105 - 416.5625 (110.9)
106 - 417.0625 (110.9)

ACMA searches would suggest its the same as the old 105, but there are none listed to FRNSW.

So anyone able to confirm if D105 is now one of the above channels in P25?

Cheers.

They were but 106 is long gone- not in the FRNSW profile as conventional (was used in the Sydney Harbor Tunnel). It is now a GRN talkgroup. D105/105 is licenced to Telco and only in use at Lilyfield. D105 is actually analogue conventional in the profile but it is likely to be a talkgroup in the next profile as the site is being trunked.

Cheers,

Richard

Thanks Richard for the quick response.

If D105 does indeed become a talkgroup in the next profile (whenever that might come about) would all the talkgroup numbers from D106 move up one, or would they remain the same and just set D105 to be out of cronological order with the others? (Not that it is important, just for curiosity).

Probably not as that would cause some confusion! I'll just use the next available talkgroup ID...

Cheers,

Richard
