Name Change - Fire and Rescue NSW

I might be simplistic here but doesn't the fire engine have "fire and rescue" down the side of the truck
I was watching a pumper attend a fire alarm off the work cctv and it definitely had those words on the side of the truck
So effectively they are already halfway there

Grant, ATM the only Pumps that have “Fire / Rescue” on the Lockers are those that are Accredited Rescue Units, otherwise they only have “Fire” on the Lockers.

If you follow this logic, maybe they should change the name to Rescue and Oil Spill Cleanup NSW?

It looks like the change over is well underway before the 1st.
It would appear as though Station 341(Kariong) have received their brand new pumper today, labeled "fire and rescue NSW".

Im pretty sure after seeing p51 today which is most definatly not a rescue appliance..had Fire Rescue on the back it but was still under name of NSW Fire Brigades, if that makes sense.. And also saw a Commordore ute parked in a quiet suburban st today with FIRE RESCUE on the back of it, but once again still under name of NSWFB
