This will give you an idea of locations of Rescue Stations within Sydney now and what type of Rescue Appliance is allocated to those Stations.

Yea that’s correct.

Gordon’s Pump has been carrying basically a Secondray Rescue Kit for the last couple of years. I spent a night Shift up there early last year, they just got all the extra gear a month or so before. The reason was, just in case the St Ives Ambulance Rescue Unit went of line or were preoccupied at another rescue, it allowed Gordon to get to work with extra gear or in case the Brigade got Rescue for that area, thy just had to put Qualified Rescue Operators on each shift and wham’O, a Pump/Rescue ready to go . . . . just like what the Brigade did in the past week.
