I wouldn't bother wasting your ink printing files off RR

You would be surprised at the number of Australians that; 1 - Pay to subscribe to RR and 2 - Contribute to it. I cannot for the life of me understand doing either. RR is a business first and foremost. Unfortunately several of the major scanner manufacturers do see it or at least treat it as gospel.

Just occurred to me that FRNSW has been using A510 here for a while, I think they might have used D510 a couple of times but for a fair while I have heard them use Analogue

NAC Codes
293 - default NAC
F7E - a receiver set on this will unsquelch with any incoming NAC
F7F - a repeater set on this will allow incoming signals to be repeated with the NAC code intact.
Just fyi have used this many times to get myself out of the trouble

It is probably important to point out that those NAC's won't work in that fashion when using a scanner. If using a scanner and unsure of the NAC it is best to just leave it either blank or in 'search' mode (depending on the scanner).

Yes we switched to P25 Fire Ground Freq's late last year.

Currently having new Dual Band Handheld Radio's rolled out in Sydney as well, which have RFS VHF FG Channels too

The APX8000 is quad-band, - VHF, all of UHF, as well as 7/800MHz, but of course, the 7/800MHz functionality is wasted here in Oz!!

APX8500 quad-band mobiles are due later this year.

All I can say is, our Digital Fire Grounds channels are crap. Worse I have seen in my 30 years with the Brigades.

Last nights 8th alarm fire at Moorebank was using 415.4750 NAC 293 P25 Clear as the fireground channel
I was listening from about 3km away.
