K9 Bravo callsign

Any body heard of the call sign K9 Bravo was going going off in yass code 3 some where can some one eligten me

They are the fire accelerant detector dogs. I believe there is two Alpha and Bravo. But they may have had puppies by now....

I believe we have around 3 Dogs in the Service, two active and 1 in Training. There has been around 8 dogs in the service in the past 20 years. For obvious reasons they get about a 5-7 year service life out of them before they are retired.

There get widely used too, other Australian Fire Services have called on them as well, so the dogs do travel interstate at the coast of that service to assist with interstate fire investigations, maybe two to three times a year.
