So is 'tango' also now also used to designate any SEV vehicle being used, or only while part of the fleet is in Vic?

Only for Vic as normally the normal vehicle wouldn't be in service at the same time as the SEV.

The 'tango' prefix has been used for two main reasons.
1. to make a Second appliance for the Station on the FireCAD System
2. to identify the Station Appliance as not (in most cases) fully stowed to the normal firefighting equipment stowage Plan.

A request was made by the CFA for our crews to take on Full Firefighting Duties in those CFA Stations, so Fully Stowed Appliances were sent, where SEV's that were brought online in there replacement in many cases do not have full stowage on the appliances, so in some cases a second station has been responded to assist crews of some 'tango' callsigns due to the lack of equipment on the 'tango' appliance.

The deployment of the 8 Pumps has ended, while the two Aerial Pumps will remain in Vic on the Run till the end of April, as the mine fire has killed two of their CFA Brand New Aerial Pumps.
