C1 are you able to decode any of the NAC's for the south west sites you can pick up?
Is anyone able to comment if the upgrade for the rest of the state is still going ahead (I think from memory the tender said by Sept. 2015)...I have been searching ACMA but have yet to find any new 42x.xxxx freqs. for FRNSW apart from the ones Mike posted earlier?

Don't look under FRNSW, look under "NSW Government Telecommunications Authority". Many of the FRNSW sites listed on the ACMA Register 18 months ago now appear lister under NSW Government Telecommunications Authority, not FRNSW.Wonky wrote:C1 are you able to decode any of the NAC's for the south west sites you can pick up?

Thanks Jafo, I have been drilling down and checking the trading name for the listings to check for FR instead of RFS, so far can only find listed on acma (as per your link) the southern and SW voting groups...hopefully the rest of the state will be listed next year

From what I understand, funding was only provided to change over a small portion of the FRNSW Analog PMR Network, initially as a trial to test the effectiveness of a Digital PMR Network system for FRNSW Operations.Wonky wrote:Thanks Jafo, I have been drilling down and checking the trading name for the listings to check for FR instead of RFS, so far can only find listed on acma (as per your link) the southern and SW voting groups...hopefully the rest of the state will be listed next year
The trial has concluded and I believe the upgrade of the remaining Anolog PMR System to Digital will commence in 2015 through 2016.
I didn't really hear which Zone's where included in the trial, but thought the area that the above link covers would make sense given the distance between repeater sites, south coast / snowy region would also make sense given the terrain limitations

The local P25 frequency of 421.575 has a NAC of 100.
Cheers. C1.
