Melbourne Frequencies?

Hi all just wondering if anyone could submit on here a few Melbourne frequencies,eg police ambos fire and CFA

G'day gmacka,

Police, ambulance and fire in Melbourne are all on the MMR (a P25 trunked radio network simular to our GRN) however the police are encrypted and so can't be monitored.

If you want to program the MMR in your scanner to monitor ambo's and fire there's a list of MMR sites and freqs on this page of this forum.

thanks Andrew do you know how i set up scanner to do this,i have my grecom scanner set up to do trunking in sydney,but not to sure how to set up for melbourne trunking? thanks greg

Sorry mate, I only have Uniden scanners myself so I can't help you with the GRE, but it should be exactly the same as setting up for the new P25 NSWGRN only with different site frequencies?
