Good work jaskel, will keep an eye out.
But as that previous poster mentioned, visibile policing is the go. The unmarked Camden highway patrol (black/charcoal F6 FPV) gets so many people in and around the Hume Highway between Bargo and Narellan. Makes even me slow down a little knowing that its always out and about.

its not about doing the right or wrong thing...its when you slip to 5 or 10 over and bam your busted... while 20km down the road some idiot goes past you at 140km/h and not a Police car to be seen! thats where the issue is!

down my way it would either call up on 121.1 or 125.0 but i never usually worry as i hear it on channel W anyway.
cheers

I only get noise on 125.000mhz No voice just noise.

like i said, you do the right thing and you dont have to worry, given the amount of k's i do a year i really couldnt give a rats what others do, and i see people do it every day.

I hear both them frequencies fine(121.1,125.0), i very much doubt you would hear them in your location given the tx location is at Mt McAllister near Taralga. air band tx is designed to go up and you only get air band ground stations roughly 50-60km from the tx site if your lucky.

121.2 and 125.0 off Mt Mc.... try listening on Sydney radar 125.8 or 124.55 for op's around the Wilton Picton area... 468.050 or 468.575 for police use.

Cheers

Goes back to the usual problem that a number of folk have noted in recent years
They have lots of highway patrol cars but not the dedicated HWP numbers to man the vehicles around the clock
Example: Burwood Highway Patrol which had 8 cars last time i was keeping tabs on them is rarely seen these days compared to say 10-15yrs ago.
Apart from the peak periods of the week eg Thurs-Sat you can have an educated punt on seeing no cops and a lot drive accordingly ... we know that there are now no mobile speed cameras deployed and they can't do speed trap or RBT tasks in the wet.
Not suprising the road toll is going up as per the stats supplied in

<quote>like i said, you do the right thing and you dont have to worry</quote>
yea easier said then done :] driving 14 hours a day ur bound to slip up a few times. no matter how perfect u think you are.

will listen out on those picton/wilton frequencies posted earlier to see if anything comes up while traveling through the area. Havent seen any activity of aerial patrol as yet, next long weekend might see some, would have to be a fairly decent amount of traffic to be able to make some money i reckon. no point sending up a plane and not get any results.
