It popped on GPT off and on
I got the impression they were transmitting Channel X Aircraft patch from 468.575
The retransmitted digital audio was dreadful from what I heard .... one of the rescue choppers was landing on a headland .... late in the day about 5or 6pm

Today they are on India again.
It is a pretty geographical area to test and the terrain is not that flat once you leave Campbelltown

Wed 27/8 and patched audio on TG 57440 reveals that they are now on Channel 5 mid afternoon.

PS While scanning through and logging NACS with the PSR500 ( a number of spec ops channels were up) the scanner stopped on 468.7500Mhz and I heard St George cars plus Despatcher in the clear, with an armed hold-up call (about 2.55pm) which threw me completely as it suppose to be a)Foxtrot and b) encrypted. There was a contunous noise in the background, the despatcher was acknowledging somebody at Glebe, a few cars with encryption plus St George cars. I finally figured out that it was Lima was patched into Foxtrot as I heard a Miranda car was talking in the clear on 468.7500. I then checked 468.7625 (Lima frequency) and it was quiet. Then as soon as I had checked out the other Lima Votes everything had returned back to normal. It was weird. It seems when everything goes belly up, the techs revert back to clear voice, patch it to another working channel then split it again then add the encryption back when they are satisfied with the technical side of the transmission.
