Why am I hearing in Sydney, Country North/west Police on 474.425 (st-107.2)?
Cars are reporting in from Brewarrina & Coonabarabran.
Only registered user in Sydney is Metwide Comms off GPT.
Receiving this on two different scanners.
Anyone else hearing this?

John.

Anyone still hearing this? last time I heard it was about two Saturday's ago when there was an almost 1 hr chase in progress from the Dubbo side of Coonamble to 5km out of Walgett with speeds up to 144km in a 110km zone , they said the VKG Sydney was monitoring & then the word come through to call off the chase, it was a bit comical at one stage as the driver on Walgett 15 was road spike authorised but the spikes were in another vehicle the other side of the chase behind the offender

Has anyone have any idea if this channel may have transfered to a frequency within the normal Police allocation?

Michael

re-broadcast, you can re-broadcast freq's from any channel to any channel providing its like uhf to uhf..

probly in much similar way to how the police have got channel x on a whole heap of uhf channels plus the vhf channel of 78.900

I think it's been turned off as I monitored it the other night and got no activity.
