I wonder what they are rebooting? It doesn't sound like a RoIP problem as the Omnitronics IPRs are extremely reliable. We haven't needed to reset one for a few months. Could be a MUX... who knows...

Cheers,

Richard

30/4 - Listening on P25 469.31250 (Zone 2 Ch114) today and hearing Robertson 22 using encryption. (Operator responding to them)

was that the only car in that area that the encryption sound?
ive heard this happen before when ive been in that area. its a problem with the system and not necessarily encryption. i heard robbo22 call up about that time on vhf 39(mt gray) just east of braidwood and could hear him clearly on that analogue channel.
cheers

no worries, yeah there not running encryption on that channel not recently anyway(12 or so months anyway) ive heard the inputs on the digital and its nice clear digital, even as recently as monday just gone when a goulburn highway car was hitting the digital base at canyonleigh(z2ch114) from the goulburn bypass, i could hear him on the input here at home.
cheers

Nice work matt, I heard a Goulburn car there complaining to VKG about coverage in that location, and the operator totally agreed that reception was terrible there..
