I had forgotten about the KJ callsign, many years ago the cars always used to say "KJ Southern Ops" down this way.

I didn't know that, must have been before I started listeningBigfella237 wrote:And it was "KJ Goulburn" before that.
These are existing allocations .... as evidenced by the licence numbers .... the site has a new addition to the title "SW Pylon Sydney Harbour Bridge adjacent Lower Fort Street". The Fort Street part is new.Bigfella237 wrote:A new PF site appeared on the ACMA today:

Although the two 468MHz freqs were authorised 29/May/2019, not sure what's going on there, maybe they were transferred from another site?

Because the NSWPF are still largely using the same channel plan from the 2008 era when it was P25 Clear .... when you sit down and analyse the output and input frequencies, you can see that the working and special ops channels are still more or less the same ..... i went through the exercise to update my own list when I found that Echo and Foxtrot had merged into just Foxtrot (which I was not aware of .... obviously). Lots of little changes ... I now try to keep the list up to date, even though it is encrypted. With the creation of the government band (467.5000-470.000) some other services are now appearing in what use to be solely the police band, especially in the country regions. I also like to read eg the coroners report on the Lindt Cafe incident where it was stated that a lot of the specialist police units have migrated to the GRN since 2014, largely as a consequence of communication problems encountered during the seige. In the next couple of years the entire NSWPF comms network will migrate to the GRN once the coverage is shown to be superior to their own network (as stated in Telco documents).lolbananalol2 wrote:How did you work out what the channels were used for?cartman wrote:New Police Site added today (17/9/19) in Surry Hills/Redfern on top of a Housing Tower Block
