As Cartman said, yep pretty smooth most will be gone in the first few minutes and then youll see a heap of scanners pop up on ebay.

If it were me I would've been announcing it last night so that the night crews know what's going on when they come back on shift this evening.

A reminder that encryption will be enabled for channels Sierra and Uniform at noon today, from the techs you do not need to change zones unless instructed

Said they don't need to change zones unless instructed.
Zone 3 will be encrypted as well as zone 4 then?

Yeah okay the second announcement (2 minutes ago) was read by a different operator and finished with "...do not change zones until instructed", that makes more sense.

VKG just announced then at 12:07hrs that "encryption has been enabled on Zone 4 - all cars and crews to switch to Zone 4"
