VKG Warilla's console IDs all changed this morning, they used to be 1201 ~ 1214 on TG1 but are now 200202, 200203 & 200204 (so far) on TG5

All the patched RIDs are now being rebroadcast on TG5 as well, except for cars & stations actually transmitting on the base I'm monitoring which are still coming up on TG1, and portables actually transmitting on the base I'm monitoring which are still coming up on TG65535 (decimal).

Not sure what's going on (obviously) but assuming the consoles have been/are being replaced. Have any of the other VKG centres changed?

Yes
Sydney, Penrith and Newcastle have changed to six digits as well in the last couple of months.

Newcastle 2003xx
Penrith 2006xx

I can advise that Tamworth console ids are still using four digits starting with 28xx. Checked the QUEBEC frequency on 468.1125 off Ebor (Point Lookout) on Tuesday this week. I am currently in Port Macquarie. Going home tomorrow

I have seen that TG 1 and TG 5 in use on the Sydney / Penrith channels when two channels are patched together especially early mornings. Eg Kilo and Hotel are often together after 3am. Logging on DSDPlus on the KILO frequency i will see Kilo cars and portables on TG 1 and HOTEL radio traffic on TG 5. If i am logging on the HOTEL frequency i will note hotel traffic on TG 1 and Kilo on TG 5.

It would appear from that sequence that there are still (at least) two VKG centres yet to get swapped over (2004xx & 2005xx).

One would be Tamworth as above but where's the other? Is there still a VKG Wagga?

On an almost-related topic, I am seeing the odd seven-digit GRN RID (2116xxx) starting to appear on the PF network as well, although it may be another agency but I thought they canned everyone else from using their network (once upon a time every bloke and his dog had a police radio... SES, Fisheries, RSPCA, etc.).

My GRN RID list is probably well out-of-date but I had NSW Sheriff in that range of IDs, so maybe they have access to the PF network now?

A couple of years ago they were testing a console at Newcastle on the Oscar channel with the RID 21198xx but it didnt last long.
Was the seven digit rid appearing on a particular channel.
Eg romeo, sierra, whiskey or uniform?

I've logged a couple of different 2116xxx RIDs, both on Sierra (unless there was some other channel patched-in at the time) with half-a-dozen odd hits.

I also see a few AFP IDs which are 7 digits as well but they're all in the 91xxxxx range (Jervis Bay is AFP and we always used to get the odd AFP car coming across to Queanbeyan's channel when out of their area).

Police in Mungindi use to be on 468.450 on the Old Police Analog Network, June just past while up there, Police had moved to their New Digital System, and NSW Ambulance was using the 468.450 Analog having vacated the 462MHz Network.
