I have heard that the users in the simplex band (469.500 - 469.9875) are being told to relocate as the Police wants to take over this spectrum. Possibly to expand their 468mhz band.

Not just Police - all Government users are being moved into specific blocks of spectrum
It is a ACMA requirement for improving spectrum efficiency
Here i believe it is 467.500-470.000Mhz is one of the blocks
Eg NSW Ambulance UHF non-trunked are currently moving across now in regional NSW

I doubt that would happen, NSW Ambulance amongst others have just moved stuff to there from the old 462-466mhz allocation they had.

469.500 for instance is the new PMR channel in Goulburn.

Cheers

There would be but it would only be updated as the bases are done. As it is South East and the Snow votes are all complete. The South West slopes, Riverina and Murray votes are a work in progress. Other areas i cant verify.
Cheers
