Forgot to mention 129.650 AM in Canberra - 34SQN "SPA Ops" - VIP fleet at RAAF Fairbairn. Generally ETA and parking instructions, but occasionally some interesting comms.

Agree with you on the Lears - just last week they were busy off the coast with a major excersise, they were advising Melbourne that they were in contact with the warship - The lears often fly as or trail drone targets for the fleet - this would certainly be via UHF but I was driving each time and didnt hear anything on any of the freqs I have programmed in ...

I have never bothered to listen to 129.6500, during the fires it was busy with ACTESA traffic so I gave it a miss. HMAS Brisbane is in Jervis Bay today so it could be worth listening to 363.0000 AM, you never know maybe when the weather clears they may get busy with the Learjets. When I find any further frequencies I will be sure to post them here. Stay dry and be safe on the roads.

350.5000 AM Black 1 this Black 2, this is a noisy channel, turned Guard on and the noise dropped. Two Navy Seahawks out of Canberra flying northwest towards Yass township. And yes visually sighted by me.

When I started this I did not expect to be posting daily, I just didn't think I would pick up that much traffic.

350.5000MHz AM Taipans out of Nowra today.

360.6000MHz AM A lot of talk about lines of code, changing it and confirming you can see the changes onboard.

I did see a Learjet leave Nowra earlier today heading South but it isn't showing on Flightradar24 now. I am not picking up any relevant ops normal calls and I can see no Warship South of Jervis Bay on MarineTraffic.com.

Interesting....

Could you hear who OUTBACK21 was actually talking to? I noticed the helo's to the east of them, and 2 B350's nearby but it must be a ground crew they are talking to, not even a faint signal on the waterfall here.

You did better than me, I couldn't even get a callsign. Usually my SDRplay RSPdx can hear signals my other radio's can't, but today one of my UBCD536-PT was the pick on reception. See what else I can hear tomorrow I reckon.

Yeah it was OUTBACK21 on that net, but MTCH21 on ADSB - quite possible they were talking to Navy, there was a Submarine and Ship showing on AIS earlier this morning which could explain not being able to hear it, but I could be wrong. Seen MTCH21 overhead as it returned back to YWLM.

On a side not, alot of activity today, couple of MH90's - DBPR103, KRKN11, WHSE125, DEST114 - into YSRI from Tamworth (appear to be from Oakey) and the usual Hawk127 suspects off Newcastle

I can see HMAS Brisbane coming in from the South towards Jervis Bay now. Could have been involved, did you get a position on Outback cause I didn't see anything?
