For those who want to get into Unitrunker/DSDPlus logging, without the hassle of SDR, an analog radio (eg above) with a discriminator tap is an excellent alternative way to do it, especially if you are going mobile with a laptop.
As I discovered the hard way, the laptop/PC needs more than one audio plug_in (which is the default on low-end laptops these days).
I use a discriminator tap on a Uniden 780.
Unfortunately software solutions like SDR and OP25 loose me on the fine detail to get it working
