might they have gone over to tetra or Mototrbo ? there would be no shortage of systems in the sydney cbd that would cover the harbour bridge..

All,

It would be my guess that the government very very quietly has withdrawn the security guards from the bridge as a money saving exercise. I admit it has been a good couple of years since I last cross the bridge by any means of transport.

Nah, they're on 466.675MHZ in P25. Shared with REX at the airport.

It somehow slipped being licensed in ACMA though.

466.675MHZ is only registered to REX now. Based on ACMA anyway.

Hmmm - me thinks "unlisted" frequency.

Mind you it is rather boring most of the time ... when it was on the GPT 800Mhz .... about a dozen phonetic callsigns .. rotating guards around different locations ... got the impression from the two references below that anybody who trespassed was picked up by rovers/ CCTV / movement detectors early on in the piece

90 odd CCTV cameras

And the Sydney Harbour Tunnel .... 80 CCTV cameras (40 each direction)

Mind you didn't stop Jeremy Clarkson taking the piss out of some poor guard standing under the bridge

So if you enter this into your digital scanner as a P25 system you will pick them up?
There not encrypted are they?

Thanks, John.
