VIRGIN BLUE Port Macquarie

Post by cartman » Mon Sep 05, 2011 10:59 am

Listening to the local Virgin Blue folk at Port Macquarie Airport
Company frequency is 466.4000

CTCSS
123.0 Checkin staff "Aircraft is on the chocks", "we have 57 guests on board, doors closed etc"
131.8 Ground Operations staff/pilots - operational requirements, fuel on board, ETA enroute etc

Those tones are likely to be the same across the NSW "Virgin" ops at particular country airports.

Ground Frequency has changed in ACMA in August 2016 to 485.0750
I monitored the Virgin 1187 female pilot today talking to Port Mac ground staff on 485.0750 131.8 with estimate to YPMQ, fuel requirements = nil etc
I have confirmed subsequently after listening to ground staff on 123.0 that it is the same tone arrangement as above. Just a change in frequency in the radios
Still analog.
