I was asked to help somebody who is a stall-holder at this event yesterday
While i did forget to bring a scanner I was able to have a good look at the radios being used by the security and event management
BEZ Security were using Motorola TRBO DP3600
The Event Management were using Motorola GP339 plus radios
East Kurrajong RFS provided the traffic management manpower and looked like they were using their XTS5000's
Presumably Security and Event Management were using a hire company with a Kurrajong Heights transmitter site

You will be surprised sometimes that they are coming off a repeater further away like Horsley Park.The Royal Easter show has used hire radios on 800mhz off APT Building in the city once.Not from Homebush precint.

Clarendon Showground is adjacent to the Richmond RAAF Base
Any repeater in use is highly likely to be off Kurrajong Heights as it is line of sight and 1500 feet up
