I have been listing to the RR streams also.
I was listing to the Toowomba stream most of the time, it was hard to follow but I got the general idea of what was happening. All the different streams up there were flat out, it was and is full on.
There is a Ustream webcam of the Brisbane river and I started looking when it had about 100 or so viewers, within half an hour or so it was about to about 4000.
Poor buggers, the power of water is scary.
Its a crazy country, one half getting drowned and the other half getting cooked, unbeleivable

While most country vehicles still have HF installed, since the advent of Satphones, a lot of the vehicle users don't have a clue how to use the HF radio.

10016 Eso7 being used around Bourke, Helitac 225 on the air.

they were suppose to be on ESO 8 and not 7

Ah right, yeah i heard them off GPT this afternoon def, was 10016 - ESO7. I think they were using ESO8 for the floods last year if i remember correctly?

Ive been the operator on "air desk" for the past week,, we were using ESO 8

Ah right, this was a female operator, talking to Helitac 225, didnt last long, maybe a different operation?

they may have split the sector onto two channels as 8 was still in use today

they have split the sector,, 7 and 8 are both in use
