Thanks mate / may have to wait till next time - won’t have much chance to buy unit now .

I’ve tried new leads as well .

See how I go adjusting

I buy for next race.

I recently discovered that swapping to a shielded Ethernet cable made a significant difference to my setup too.

The sound processor is right next to the NIC on my motherboard (probably the same as most others) and I was getting up to -50dB of noise on a line-in audio feed, but swapping the old CAT5 cable out for a shielded CAT6A cable saw the noise drop away to almost nothing, it now just flickers on -60dB (which is the lowest the scale goes).

On a completely unrelated subject... In this day and age it should be possible for the Seven Network to broadcast two audio feeds, one with and one without Neil Bloody Crompton flapping his gums all the damn day!

Bring back Uncle Doug Mulray I say!
