Cyclone Ita (Far North Queensland)

Shortwave Coverage by ABC Emergency on 15240khz AM. Being heard on remote SDR's as far away as the Netherlands.

Will post updates if any frequency change.

Hi all, Talking to a good mate up there right in the thick of it, says that the wind is getting up get the odd big gust and a few showers but nothing serious yet. He's listening to his scanners up there, nothing to report yet.

For those in QLD, ABC Local radio on shortwave: 8am - 7pm 15240kHz and 7pm-8am 6150kHz

Other shortwave frequencies carrying emergency information for QLD: 5995kHz 0000-0400EST, 9710kHz 0400-0600EST and 11650kHz 0600-0800EST

Hi all, Getting 6150Khz quite strong here in Goulburn S20 at 2355.
Only running a 1/2 wave 27mhz vertical.
