Is there many active Ltr or 800 MHz still active in the city to monitor the Mardi Gra or will rental grn or convtional be used instead..

City of Sydney are producing it, they have migrated to NXDN. Keep an
Ear on the RTA talkgroups and backup ch.

If Scan Sydney had a float in the Mardi Gras we would have more whips & rubber duckies than anyone else!
In the past event organisers have appeared on 800mhz Moto trunk of GPT.Rental talkgroups around 48xxx.
Also try 490LTR off AMP Tower.

GPT 800 Mhz Analogue is carrying Mardi Gras traffic on the usual rental talkgroups above TG 4800 eg 4832,4864,4928,4960,4992,5024,5056,5088,5184,7152,20592
RMS Talkgroup 10704 on the GRN is covering traffic closures associated with Mardi Gras
Ambos on Incident 2 - GRN Talkgroup 10335
Police appear to be on Vote 64

Grant

Talkgroup 4928 - Float registration
Talkgroup 4960 - Parade Start channel?
Talkgroup 5024 - Operations channel
Talkgroup 5088 - Media channel?
