Possibly same as last year

3. Air traffic - (live now ) Monitoring , 127.35 CTAF, 122.75 Melb centre, 118.500 Melb centre, 133.05 Brisbane Centre.
4. Police, Ambulance, Fire etc. (live now ) - Police Bathurst, 468.475 ( Analogue) All Ambo, Fire ,SES, RFS using P25 on GRN. .

Any other ideas, let me know bathurtscan@gmail.com

A week or so out from the race, the drivers frequencies are listed on the V8 Supercars website.

They sure are, as each year, some change due to problems in and around Bathurst, they never publish the new list.. Fun times trying to locate them too.

http://bathurst.v8supercars.com.au/Port ... 1%20V1.pdf

This was listed on the 2012 page, but its the 2011 frequencies - something to work on anyway.

"v8 supercars frequencies" in google also displays majority of this years frequencies in the search results too.

Yes, a good way is to enter all the comms group hire companies freq into scanner, you know they will be used for something! I nearly always find something interesting in those, especially Medical - race control, they never seem to keep the same freq!

http://www.radiocomms.com.au/articles/5 ... nications-
When an opportunity came knocking for Kenwood to provide its radios to V8 race control, the company jumped at the chance.
For two seasons now the company has, through Racecomms, provided its NEXEDGE radios to V8 Supercar racing teams.
Interesting article, but all race teams (specifically Car to Team during race) is to be an Analog mode as per the V8 Supercars Operations Manual.
20.1.1.4 As part of compliance with Rule E2.4, each Team transmitting/receiving on
their permitted radio frequency, on either digital or analogue must only do so
in a clear and unobstructed manner to enable listening access only to their
transmissions.
20.1.1.4.1 Teams using digital transmission must re-transmit
communications in an analogue signal without delay; and with a power output
within the range of 4 – 5 Watts.

Good to see it up and running again Dave, will be listening intently due to a few factors.
Good job as always
