Looks like its working now . Had to leave the ip, couldnt name it.
I think ill leave it on most off the long weekend, at this stage.

Kudos on this feed and a special thanks for allowing remote control of the scanner, there was only security on the ANZ Stadium site (yawn) and having control allowed me to open up a few GRN sites on SQKs 17, 18 & 19 which was great, there aren't any other ProScan feeds in Sydney so it was interesting to be able to see the city GRN sites in action! (I think I put everything back as I found it?)

I don't suppose you would consider making this feed a regular thing?

aaah , UID display . I was spinnin out about what I am seein on the display now. Yeah no worries. So that is the actual radio id is it . Is it the radio that iniciated the talk request, I noticed that it dosent change from over to overs .
I dont know why more users dont allow the remote use open for all, maybe Ill start something off.
Might have a look at the proscan forum if its bin talked about previosly.

I downloaded ProScan while at a fast food family restaurant on the free wi-fi today visiting family up at the Central Coast. It wasn't my turn to drive home back to Sydney so I had the laptop going with the 396 heading back home. First impressions.. love it at this stage at the end of the 30day trial I shall be buying the key.

Yep, Radio ID, User ID, Unit ID, whatever you want to call it? Centracoms actually call it a PID (Push-to-talk ID), leave it to Mother to give something a different name to everybody else!

Don't know why the UID wouldn't change unless they're all talking through a PMR bridge or a console or something, was that on the ANZ site?

The main reason most people don't like handing over control of their scanners is when you wake up the next morning and have to spend half an hour getting it back to how you had it because some inconsiderate person didn't put it back the way they found it? There maybe needs to be 'levels' of control where you can allow a remote user to [HOLD] or even use SQKs & GQKs but restrict access to menu functions etc.? But, I guess just see how it goes, I certainly appreciated being able to dial up the GRN sites at 3am!

I wonder what happens when two people try controlling the scanner at the same time?
