DAB+

Post by durox » Thu Jan 07, 2010 1:14 pm

Hey Guys,

Just wondering if anybody has had any experience listening to the DAB+ broadcasts in Sydney.

Was thinking of investing in a radio to try it out but wanted to see if its worth the money.

Hi,

As I type I'm listening to a Sangean DPR-99 that Santa left under the tree for me. I was pleasantly surprised to discover that out here in the Hawkesbury i can receive 41 stations, as a big broadcast listener I'm really enjoy Digital. hearing 702 in such a clear sound is very cool and the number of new stations gives a lot more choice.

P.S. I had the same radio in Wollongong last week and couldn't pick up any Dig stations!

Regards

Kev

I brought my mum a KAISER BAAS DAB from DSE for xmas. Was surprised at how clear the audio was & the amount of new stations as Kev refers to.I read that the frequency range allocated is between 200mhz & 240mhz FM.
