Here's some information for people who want to get started on monitoring mpt1327 systems on the central coast

This is a copy of a post I made about 10mths ago on the now defunct NSW Emergency Services forum on Sat Jan 10, 2009 10:05 am.
Alas my Tuggerah Lakes listening post is being sold at the end of the month, so no more monitoring on the Central Coast for me.

Wyong Council are utilising a 490Mhz MPT1327 5 channel system now for communications (exactly at the same time as it's neighbour Gosford implements a VHF 1327 mpt multi-site system)
From research i have done with trunkview

Offset = 12.5khz
488.7125 Ch 001 - Voice
489.1250 Ch 034 - Control Channel
490.8250 Ch 170 - Voice
491.8500 Ch 252 - Voice
492.0750 Ch 270 - Voice
Some trunkview data suggests there is data sent to 488.7250 - Ch 002.
The odd thing is that Wyong Council is not licensed for 488.7125 or 488.7250 (well not last time i looked).
I welcome anybody to utilise this list in conjunction with their own listening and see if they can add to the knowledge of this system
I am only up on the Central Coast maybe 3-4 days a month
