Is this the 505mhz UHF band systems or the 167mhz VHF band systems?

Vertel owns the 505Mhz MPT1327 system you allude to
They have also a VHF MPT1327 setup (ID 00xx) which seems to be slowly getting switched over to DMR Tier 3

Fleetcoms MPT1327 has a Australia wide 400Mhz network as a well as the VHF MPT1327 system (both system ID's 5XXX)
It would seem the reason that Fleetcoms has lasted so long because of the need to support the Victorian State Mobile Radio VHF network.
Now that the SMR has migrated to the P25 RMR, they have given notice to close down the whole analogue network ... in todays terminology it is life expired and no doubt expensive to maintain a 25 year old network
