P25 System

Hi all mucking around with the scanner last night I set up a new p25 system and entered one cc only ( 417.4625 ) with the scanner in search mode. When a tg became active I noticed the scanner was changing to different ccs to keep up with the tg that was active at that time. Has anybody else tried this in there scanners. It is tracking tgs fine with only one cc entered it has also set the ban plan And the audio seems to be clearer not as much popping that I get with a system that has all ccs entered into it.

You mean changing to different voice channels to keep up with the talkgroup?
