There must be a ton of new sites out west (as well as north) because there appears to be a handful of townies driving all over the state testing GRN coverage (can't remember the TG but they keep popping up saying "testing west" & "testing north" etc.)

I'd infer this means a lot more rural FRNSW areas will be changing to the GRN fairly soon?

Andrew

EDIT: Just caught it then, they're testing on TG 10126

"testing west",, "testing north" is the guys at Newcastle Comms,, they do this each time they change consoles during the shift

Ah, okay, thanks Garry, it seems 'inferring' is not too far from 'assuming'!

They must change consoles an awful lot then, I haven't counted but there would have to be dozens of these calls throughout the day.

No idea why that TG would be carried on multiple sites down here either? My information may be a little out-of-date but I have that as "D307 ACT-NSW" and I see/hear it all day long on Round Hill & Mt Wandera (and probably others I don't monitor).

Andrew

You'll hear it hourly as they swap. It seems they do an hour on, hour off type arrangement

This time RFS TG:10080 are using Phase 2 this weekend.

Since Moving My Father down to Albury, and selling his house . . . Can't see myself getting back up into that part of the world for some time . . . so I won't be providing any up-dates for up there anytime soon.
It's slowy progressing your way.
In-time, you could be a great source keeping us updated as they venture south of Wagga and Berremangra to VIC border

Xplorer00,

I live in Sydney Mate.

My Father use to live up pass Moree and I use to make the drive up and visit him every 4 months or so till he fell and broke his hip. No real reason for Me to travel up there now.

More trips down to Albury now, so waiting for the day I hear the new Albury GRN Site active lol
