Long Jetty cc 423.6000 001-083
Was just checking out Mt Elliott control channel 419.0625 on DSDPlus (72km distant from Liverpool) and noticed a new peer 001-083 shown as failed and isolated.
Control Channel was 423.6000.
ACMA reveals this to be the Long Jetty Site.
Under site testing it would appear.
Somebody else on Scan Sydney forum suggested that the site at Wadalba may be under test as well at the moment.
Would be beneficial if Central Coast locals could check the local sites around Tuggerah Lakes for new sites under test. as there appears to be a couple.
Tried to get a snapshot of Mt Elliott peers but am getting hammered by Razorback voice traffic on the same frequency

This is from my DSDPlus event log:
2020/10/02 19:05:33 BEE00.2D1-1.12 neighbor: Site BEE00.2D1-1.83; CC=4-1780 423.6000 FAILED, ISOLATED

Update from the facebook Scanning NSW Digital (Chris V) - 001-083 only peered to 001-12 Mt Elliott

GAN GAN SITE 002-042
Overnight I was able to pick up the Gan Gan Control channel near Nelson Bay (170km from Liverpool) through identifying the Site Number, then checking on the ACMA and the list on Scan Sydney.
Turns out the Control channel frequency and voice channel frequencies have changed.

I believe Citabria stated that this is a test site for equipment being deployed in the field - and appears on Castle Hill 001-075 and is not a receivable site.
Seems to be a system test site for each zone 001-001 = Zone 1, 002-001 = Zone 2 etc
Scotty and I have noted these in the past

Re: NSW P25 uniden issue with site numbers above 99

Post by cartman » Tue Oct 06, 2020 11:02 am

I have finally come to the conclusion that certain Uniden models cannot read site numbers above 99. It just leaves it blank after the zone eg 2d1h-02 instead of 2d1h-02111 for Mt Ganghat west of Taree. Happens with the 396, 325p2, 996 and possibly others. I dont think it is an issue with the SDS models. Not sure about TRX1 as i have yet to try.

The GRE PSR series of scanners suffer even worse just giving the site NAC.
