Interesting RID
At 1600 hours today Unitrunker logged a RID of 6666666. At 1638 hours it is still showing as being onine. Maybe someone has a dodgy radio on the system. Bears looking at.

Have you noted any activity associated with this RID? Any affiliations etc?

None. It has not affiliated with a TG - yet. Still showing as being online. Captured via Glenbrook.

Russell,
It's interesting that the network is allowing these ID's to affiliate, the old smartzone system wouldn't let non valid ID's affiliate.
I have noticed that a non valid ID will even bring a talkgroup active on a site, TX on the talkgroup is blocked however.

Re: Interesting RID
I was logging with Unitrunker off GPT at the same time.
None of those radios ids have appeared.
However I did notice that at 1525-1528hrs somebody with a "1" id was logged off GPT but no talkgroups recorded

PS
This question is left of field but are the "5000's" equipped with GPS?
Is it possible to programme the radio to give its GPS co-ordinates when it affiliates.
I am pretty sure that would put the wind up the shonky folk if they knew they could be tracked
