Unitrunker Retro works on P25 Trunking via Uniden 796

For some this is not earth shattering news but folk like me who loved the old Unitrunker Retro (ie not the new xml version) for the ease of logging radios and talkgroups, I have managed to get to get it working on the NSWGRN's P25 GPT site via a pre-existing discriminator tap that i have on the Uniden 796 (US version). I had my 796 out on loan until recently and just happened to stumble across it an hour ago. I am not an IT genius and i didn't realise this was possible until i accidentally did something which made it work. I was a big user of Unitrunker Retro but had stopped when my old laptop died at the end of last year. I have fiddle with the xml version but i find it a pain in the a***

I am now logging the NSWGRN GPT P25 on two separate programmes

1. Pro96.com off a Pro96 + data cable into a USB slot
2. Unitrunker Retro off a Uniden 796 + discriminator tap cable into the Microphone slot

yes it does, and when i was having probs with universaltrunker i used the retro version of unitrunker to help sort out the problems
